Lots of questions this brings up for me. For example, my parents moved out of the mountains for a far more temperate area, like much of their peers. While I could never imagine wanting to live in a warmer climate myself, there may yet come a day. Perhaps when my boots are more worn down.
Yeah, like most people in Canada I've thought about moving somewhere warmer one day, but I think I'd miss the cold. Just a bit. Would definitely miss the snow. There's something about how bare everything is in the winter, and the way the sky seems emptier - also I have a better pair of boots now than I used to.
