Ways and Ways
indecision
Do you not overthrow me, all is lost,
And should you not mark it, who will count the cost?
Single my soul had been, now cleft in twain
Which side would I have, did I choose again?
All is lost, all is won, all turns in my hand
Yet if I seek to find some other land
What strange inhabitants will know me there
As now, or stranger still, and passing bear
Some welcome or some other, swifter hate
Which, if I do not turn, finds me too late.
I have not, and I know not but this
A long road, and my crossroads is.
